Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death in children under 5 and the 2nd leading cause in children under 14.

No one is drown proof!

Drowning does not look like you would expect or see on TV. It is SILENT and can happen in as little as 20-60 seconds.

Learning to swim can reduce the risk of drowning by 88% for 1-4 year olds who take formal swim lessons. However is not a replacement for adult supervision.

Our #1 rule is to always have an adult present while children are swimming.

Designate a "Water Watcher". This is someone who is free of all distractions and never leaves the pool unattended.
